Notice: This site is an
unofficial temporary site until the launch of www.globalclimate.gov
- coming soon. As a result, not all pages at this site are current.
This web site is designed to be an online resource for information about the United States Initiative on Joint Implementation (USIJI). USIJI is a pilot program encouraging organizations in the United States and other countries to form partnerships to implement projects that mitigate greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable development.
At the last Conference Of the Parties
(COP-7) under the United Nations
Framework Convention on Climate Change, action
was taken to continue the Activities
Implemented Jointly (AIJ) pilot program. (See
COP-7 Decision 8/CP.7)
